Magic the Gathering Red Mana (Mountain) Potholder

This pattern is available as a
free Ravelry download
This potholder works up very quickly - and does a pretty good job of capturing the look of the red mana symbol from Magic, if I do say so myself.
I do recommend making two layers - one symbol on the front and another on the back, if you like, or if you’re a monocolored kind of person, one symbol on the front with a plain back.
(If you’re going to make a potholder in honor of your favorite two-colored deck, do be sure to use yarns of the same weight, or better still, the same maker. This will ensure that your two squares will be exactly the same size.)
The chart is available for download at the bottom of the linked blog post!
