In these uncertain times, I would like to gift you this pattern. Hopefully it will bring you comfort and provide a calming distraction as we navigate this uncharted path together.

Magic Tiles is knit modular. This means the squares are knitted together by picking up and knitting stitches from the previously worked square. This also means no sewing!

The blanket can be made any size with any weight yarn. It can be a planned or random layout. You can use one colour, two colours, or a variety. Each square uses approx. 11 m/12 yds of yarn, making it the perfect project for leftovers!

As we self-isolate and are unable to be with our loved ones, knit a square in their favourite colour. Or use yarn leftover from something you made for them. One day at a time, one square at a time, we will make it.

May you and your loved ones stay safe.

Suitable for an Experienced Beginner.
