Magical Mitered Sweater
This top-down seamless cardigan starts with just a few stitches at the back of the neck and grows into any size you wish. It can be theoretically worked with any gauge of yarn and to any desired size with a little bit of calculations, but here I have sized it for Noro Kureyon, a long color repeat yarn. The basic sweater at worsted gauge is described here in 7 sizes, but can be sized up or down by changing yarn and needle size.
This sweater is very entertaining to knit, and some of my testers enjoyed coloring-in the diagrams at the end of the pattern to have more control over the colors, and some used the yarn as is and let the sequence surprise them!
This sweater is most entertaining with more colors, so if you substitute yarn, use one with many colors in it. Noro Silk Garden or Noro Ito would be lovely substitutes, as is Berocco Wizard at a larger gauge. You can also use Noro Silk Garden Sock yarn at a smaller gauge for a lighter weight garment. This is explained in the pattern in a chart at the end. As usual, Swatching is your friend!
The pattern is 25 pages, as it has detailed instructions with step-by-step photos, and diagrams to guide you.
