This fun bag can be a pouch for dice, tarot, or Knick knacks!! I was inspired by LARP for this design!! There’s a buckle strap option as well to add to any cute outfit for the day!! If you want a bigger version, there’s directions for a purse. I can wait to see what you hook up!! Here’s the deets…

Supplies needed…

5.5mm hook, or 6.5mm hook (refer to notes for sizing)
Worsted yarn #4 (I used Red Heart Super Saver Yarn 140yrds total)
Bernet Velvet yarn (for larger size)
Needle
Scissors
Stitch Marker
Beads (optional)

Notes…

You are working in rows with this pattern. Which means you connect with a slip stitch at the end of each row.

When you see and with directions in between, it means to repeat those stitches however many times stated.

You are alternating each row with starting in the starting stitch or skipping to the next one. Skipping starting stitch rows in purple.

Make sure to mark the first or last stitch of each row with your stitch marker.

When making your Magic Ring make sure to knot your tail to secure your work.

For a pouch, you’ll want to use worsted yarn and 5.5mm hook.

For the purse, you’ll want to double strand with Bernat velvet yarn (or equivalent yarn) and worsted yard with 6.5mm hook. Can also add D-rings and thinner strap for smaller sizes too!!

Sizing Options: 5.5mm is a medium sized pouch allowing a little room for a dice bag or tarot deck & other items. Measures at 7.5”W x 7”H. 6.5mm is a handbag size allowing for daily use. Strap options included. Measures at 12”W x 10”H.

Row 5 at 3.5” with 5.5mm hook
