The MagiCowl sweater is worked top down, allowing you to make a beautiful cowl or the full sweater. The entire sweater is worked in the round, so there is no sewing at all! The length & fit are customisable & the design looks great from cropped to dress length. It is designed to fit comfortably at the bust with just a slight taper for a relaxed fit around the rest of the torso.

The pattern has been thoroughly tested by a large group of fabulous testers who have tested every size to ensure accuracy & clarity. It’s really important to me that you have a pattern you love. Please reach out to me if you have any issues.

Materials required:

1094 - 2297 yards of any of any #3 weight dk yarn.
4mm crochet hook (or hook to obtain gauge)
Tapestry needle & scissors
Stitch markers

Construction: This sweater is constructed from the top down. The ribbed collar is made first & then the main body is crocheted directly onto this in the round. The sleeves are added last, again crocheted directly onto the body in the round.

Gauge (ribbing): With a 4mm hook (or hook size to obtain gauge) in SC BLO / DC BLO, 18 stitches by 22 rows = 10cm by 10cm square.

Gauge (main body): With a 4mm hook (or hook size to obtain gauge) in pattern repeat, 22 stitches by 8 rows = 10cm by 10cm square.
