This pattern is to make a Magikarp bag or plush toy. I wanted the bag, and realised it wouldn’t be hard to tweak it to make it a toy, too. The finished item is about 30cm from mouth to tail, not including strap, and 16cm wide, not including crowns.

I used about 1/2 to 3/4 of a skein of Carnival 8ply orange for the body, and minimal amounts of the other colours. Stuffing is needed if you’re making the plush. I lined the bag with plain cotton for extra support, so fabric will be needed if you want to do that.
