Ispirata da questo fiore meraviglioso nasce questo progetto. Fra le nuance dei colori sfumati che ricordano l’acqua (tessuta da un filato pregiato in cotone e canapa dall’aspetto flamè) sbocciano delicate ninfee color panna.

According to oriental cultures, the water lily (Ninfea in Italian) symbolizes dawn, whiteness, purity, and the rising of the sun in all its beauty. It blooms from May to September and its flowers open in the morning of sunny days. This project is born inspired by this wonderful flower. Delicate cream-colored water lilies bloom amidst the nuances of shaded colors reminiscent of water (woven from a fine cotton and hemp yarn with a flamé appearance).

First work the tiles (the water lily flowers), which will be assembled to form a rectangle. Continue working on the longer sides of the rectangle. You will create two identical panels: one for the front and one for the back, which will then be assembled with seams on the shoulders and hips. The sleeves will be worked in the round.
