It only involves knitting flat and this pattern is suitable for a beginner/intermediate knitter

What you will need:

2 knitting needles (US2/2.75mm or as per tension advice)
5g blue yarn per raindrop (DK or light worsted e.g. Sirdar Snuggly DK Soldier Blue 412)
1 strong, small magnet per raindrop (optional)
Two black toy safety eyes (6mm) per raindrop
Polyfil stuffing
1 tapestry needle for finishing

Skills used: Casting on and off, Increasing, Decreasing

Stitches used: Stocking stitch
