Brimmed hat with knitted magnolia flower, picot edging, and soft folds. Brim shape is created through geometry and tight gauge – no cardboard or plastic! Hat can be trimmed with buttons instead of a flower if desired. Hat can be made longer than cap length pictured, but you will need more yarn.
The brim’s structural integrity comes from the recommended cast on, the tight gauge, shaping, and leaving the wraps in place unless otherwise specified.

Earlier versions of the cap used the abbreviation sl1 in the brim construction - this means slip 1.
