MAGNOLIA TUNIC
This tunic is a top-down stranded pattern, perfect for spring weather. It has a yoke and border in five colours and two sweet pockets. Because of the Aran weight yarn this pattern works up quickly. I designed it first for a little girl, who loves exploring in the great outdoors. But the reactions I got on Instagram were so encoraging that I decided to make it in a pattern for more sizes. You can knit the pattern with short sleeves or make the sleeves into 3/4 sleeves. The pattern is test knitted in most sizes.

MATERIAL
Garnstudio DROPS Nepal: 50 grams (1.76 ounces) approx. 82 yards (75 meters) per skein. You could substitute it with DROPS Alaska, Létt-Lopi or any wool based Aran weight yarn. How many balls of DROPS Nepal you need is written in the seizing table on page 2.
5 mm (US 8) circular needles 40 cm long; 5,5 mm (US 9) circular needles 40 and 60-80 cm long cm long; 5 mm (US 8) double pointed needles, for the sleeves, or use magic loop; 5,5 mm (US 9) double pointed needles, for the sleeves, or use magic loop. Size 3mm (US 2,5) 60-80 cm long for the pockets.
You also need 4 stitch markers (preferably one in a different colour to use as the BOR marker), a tapestry needle and scissors.

GAUGE
16 stitches and 20 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinet stitch, using larger size needles. This is the washed and blocked gauge. Check your tension and adjust needle size if necessary.
