If you are new to Overlay Mosaic Crochet, the Mahrokh Double Reflection pattern is perfect for you to try.

This is an expansion of my previously published pattern Mahrokh Mosaic Coaster.

In this Mini CAL, we are about to make an afghan block ( you could make several blocks and sew or join them to make a blanket, throw, or afghan) or simply add a beautiful border to make a bigger square for a gorgeous-looking and unique cushion. It’s really up to you what you want to make with this pattern. I will make one myself to record a video for my Youtube channel as well so that less experienced people or beginners have a tutorial to refer to.

The pattern comes with written row-by-row instructions and a user-friendly chart ( Don’t worry, I put X to show you the place of DCs in my chart). Therefore, anyone with any crochet skill level can follow my instructions and charts.

In this CAL we are using the flat format although it is possible to use an in-the-round technique if you choose to make a bag or seamless cushion.

The Block size is (27 cm x 27cm) not including the fringe when using the recommended yarn and hook. Any yarn can be used but the size may vary.

For Mosaic crochet, you only need to know how to make single-crochet and double-crochet stitches. The double crochet stitches cover some of the other color’s single crochet stitches to create the design. My patterns instruct you to cut your yarn at the end of each row. The back is striped.
