This super lightweight, airy tank is perfect for spring and summer. The lace weight yarn and larger needle size create a breathable, flowy fabric that is almost undetectable on your skin. The basic lace hem keeps the knitting interesting and fun as you finish up your tank.

Yarn
Approximately 330(360, 420, 480, 520) (650, 800, 920, 1030)yds or 300(330, 390, 440, 475)(600, 740, 840, 940)m of any heavy lace or light fingering weight yarn that gets gauge

I used The Fibre Co, Meadow, which is 498m/545yds per 100g. Choose a yarn with similar yardage to match the airiness of the pictured tank! A 100% linen yarn of the same weight may end up more open than other fiber.

Gauge
20 stitches and 32 rows per 4”/ 10cm on main needle in stockinette stitch, wet blocked.

Row gauge is super important to get the correct neckline depth + armhole depth. Make sure to block your swatch before starting!

Needles & Notions
US 5 / 3.75 mm, or size needed to obtain gauge, in 24” or 32” circular needles depending on size
US 7 / 4.5mm, or two needle sizes larger than main needle (straight, circular or DPNs) for bind-off

Crochet hook for provisional cast-on, Stitch marker, stitch holder/scrap yarn, tapestry needle

Construction
The back panel shoulders are provisionally cast-on and knit separately until they are joined for the neckline. The back is then knit flat until the underarms. The front panel joins at the provisional cast-on edge of the back shoulders, and each shoulder is knit separately until deep enough to cast on stitches for the neckline. The body is joined in the round and knit in stockinette, then finished with a lace hem.
