The Māia top is a top-down seamless yoked short sleeve top. The yoke is cast on and worked down, the increases are worked in the stockinette sections around the colour-work. Once the sleeves are separated, the fun does not stop with a wonderfully easy and effective colour-work pattern worked on the straight body. A simple rib finishes it. The sleeves are placed back on the needles and a short colour-work section precedes either a long or short sleeve option before a simple rib is worked. The neckband is picked up and finished again with the simple rib and then bound off using a contrast colour.

The Māia top has 1-4” / 2.5 – 10 cm of positive ease. Choose a size to knit that is between 1-4” / 2.5 - 10 cm larger than your actual bust size.

Needles and Notions:
US 3 / 3.25 mm and US 2 / 2.75 mm circular needles 32” / 80 cm long and for small circumference knitting.
