Maiija Crossover is worked top down in one piece with raglan increases without a centre stitch. First, an I-cord is worked from where stitches are picked up for both front pieces, sleeves and the back piece. The body is finished with a twisted ribbing and closed with buttons. The balloon sleeves are worked in the round and finished with a pretty I-cord edge.

I am 1,60 m tall and have a chest circumference of 86 cm. The chest circumference (2x A) of Maiija Crossover is 98 cm for size 36 (i.e. positive ease of 12 cm)

Recommended needles: 1 circular needle 5 mm (40 and 100 cm), 1 circular needle 4,5 mm (100 cm), 1 circular needle 4 mm (40 cm) for the double-sided cast on and the I-cord edge at the sleeves.

The sleeves are worked on circular needles (4 and 5 mm (40 cm).

You might as well work sleeves on dpns or any other needle system of your choice.

Knit a gauge swatch first and adjust needle size, if necessary.

Gauge, washed and blocked, 1 or 2 thread(s) 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch = 16 sts x 22 rows on needle 5 mm

Supplies: 6 stitch marker, 2 stitch holders or waste yarn, wool needle, measuring tape, scissors, pins. 6 buttons, ø 18 mm.

Der Maiija Crossover wird in einem Stück von oben nach unten mit Raglanzunahmen ohne Zwi-schenmasche gestrickt. Zunächst wird ein I-Cord gearbeitet, aus dem anschließend die Maschen
für die Vorderteile, die Ärmel und das Rückenteil aufgenommen werden.
Das Bündchen wird mit verschränkten Maschen gearbeitet und der Crossover wird mit Knöpfen geschlossen. Die Ballonärmel werden rund gestrickt und haben einen hübschen I-Cord-Saum.

Nadeln
Je eine Rundnadel 5 mm, 40 und 100 cm lang,
eine Rundnadel 4,5 mm, 100 cm lang,
eine Rundnadel 4 mm, 40 cm, für den
doppelseitigen Anschlag und den
I-Cord Saum der Ärmel.

Ich arbeite die Ärmel mit der Rundnadel
(4 mm und 5 mm, 100 cm lang) und der Ma-gic Loop Methode. Du kannst sie aber auch mit der 40 cm langen Rundnadel, einem
Nadelspiel oder jedem anderen Nadelsystem deiner Wahl stricken.
Stricke zuerst eine Maschenprobe und passe die Nadelstärke gegebenenfalls an.
