The Maija Mittens are of a simple design without wrist shaping. The slip stitch pattern gives an delicate rib effect to the mittens. the wrist has a garter edge to prevent curling.

The pattern is for one size but will be easy to adjusts to smaller size by choosing a lighter yarn, to size up choose a slightly chunkier yarn.

The pattern is written using a yarn combination that produced a tension of 22sts = 10cm (4 inches). The number of rows does not matter as you will knit in the round to the length specified or desired.

The pattern is written to be knitted either with 5 needles or with long circular needles using magic loop.
