Note
Vest is worked in one piece as a rectangle starting from the side edge with a stripe pattern using two different yarns. Starting at the right side of the body, piece is worked in pattern to the center where the neck opening is shaped with Bind Off and Backwards Loop Cast On before the left side of the body is worked.
Once the body is complete, stitches are picked up from the short edges to finish the front and back hems with cabled ribbing. Finally two ties are worked flat and belt loops are crocheted onto the sides of the body.

Note
前身頃と後ろ身頃を同時に横から編み進めるベスト. 2種類の異なる糸を用い, 模様を編んでいく.
最初は右前後身頃から編み進み, 首の位置まで来たら, 伏せ目と巻増し目で前後差のある首部分を作り, 再度左側の身頃を続けて横編みで編む.
編み終えてから前身頃と後ろ身頃は別々に, リブの部分を拾い目しケーブル模様のリブを下に向かって編む.
サイドにリボンを編むが, リボンを付ける際のベルトループは, かぎ針で鎖編みを用いてつくる.
