The bonnet is knit flat towards the crown from stitches picked up from the lace brim which is knit separately first. It features an eyelet band to thread matching ribbon through to tie under the chin. This eyelet band also serves to keep baby’s neck nice and warm too. If you would prefer an I-cord to this ribbon eyelet band then you will find the instructions to make the alternative I-cord neck ties here.

The booties are knit flat (again, from stitches picked up from the lace cuff) down towards the sole and seamed up the back of the leg. Both items are an easy and quick knit and make the perfect baby-shower gift.
