Maize is a free headband pattern with beautiful, bold cables. Of all the textured stitches out there, this one is by far my favorite. For extra warmth, I plan to line this headband with some soft grey fleece.

YARN:
Red Heart Soft Essentials
Bulky Weight #5 ~ 80 grams, 109 yards

HOOK:
6.5 mm (US K-10.5)

GAUGE:
11 single crochet and 13 rows = 4 inches

SIZE:
Teen/Adult – 21 to 23 inch head circumference

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:
Circumference = 19 inches
Width = 4.75 inches
