Description
The Sweater knitting pattern for the Maja Sweater V-Neck is a boxy sweater with an oversized fit. It features drop shoulders, a V-neckline and a double folded collar in 1x1 ribbing. The basic V-Neck sweater knitting pattern is worked top down in stockinette stitch and starts with shaping the shoulders of the back piece. After that the V-Neck is formed using increases. The ribbing parts of the sweater feature a horizontal stitch, which is a special detail. The fit of the basic sweater knitting pattern is quite oversized, which is emphasized by the drop shoulders and the wide body. The highlight of the simple sweater is the deep v neck, which is emphasized by the double folded collar in ribbed pattern and the horizontal knit stitch. With this basic V-Neck sweater knitting pattern you can knit your own wardrobe staple that you will wear all year round!

The Maja Sweater is knitted with three strands of yarn held together. One thread of the thicker yarn, together with two threads of the Silk Mohair.
Note that you will need more yarn if you want to knit the sweater longer.
