Majesty est un grand châle triangulaire asymétrique qui se tricote de haut en bas sans coutures avec une laine d’épaisseur Sport.
Sa construction se déroule en plusieurs étapes: on tricote d’abord un triangle asymétrique. Ensuite, des rangs raccourcis sont effectués pour rééquilibrer le nombre de mailles entre les 2 côtés.
Ce modèle est accessible aux débutants curieux. Les explications sont données sous forme de diagramme ou écrites rang par rang.

Laine:
2 écheveaux de 2 couleurs différentes de ByNightCreations Pollux (100% Highland Peruvian Wool • 100g = 350 m / 380 y) ou approximativement 2 x 310 m / 340 y de laine de type sport.

Le modèle présenté a été tricoté en Pollux Cachou/Cochenille b1 (C1) et NuttGalls (C2).

Matériel:
Aiguilles: 4mm (US #6) (circulaires de 80 ou 100cm pour plus de confort).
5 anneaux marqueurs (Si vous avez l’habitude de placer un anneau marqueur entre chaque répétition du motif, il vous faudra en prévoir plus), 1 compteur de rang, aiguille à laine, ciseaux.

Echantillon (après blocage) :
21 m. x 26 rgs = 10 cm / 4” en jersey endroit

Taille: 210 cm / 81,5” x 65 cm / 25,5”

Majesty is a large asymmetric triangle shawl worked in one piece, back and forth from top down with Sport weight yarn.
You will first knit an asymmetric triangle shawl and, after a short rows section, the number of stitches on both sides of the shawl will be even again.
The pattern is accessible to curious beginners. Instructions are both on charts and written row by row.

Yarn:
2 skeins of ByNightCreations Pollux (100% Highland Peruvian Wool • 100g = 350 m / 380 y) or about 2 x 310 m / 340 y of sport weight yarn.

Sample was knit using Pollux Cachou/Cochenille b1 (C1) and NuttGalls (C2).

Notions:
Needles: 4mm (US #6) (for a better comfort when the number of stitches grows, I recommend using circular needles).
5 stitch markers (and a few extra ones if you’d rather place one between each pattern repeat).
row counter, scissors, darning needle and pins for blocking
