Majorca the Octopus is a great cuddly friend just for anyone! He can be made in so many different colors and it is especially fun when you make his body out of stripy yarn! Octopuses are also supposedly good for small babies – and this design is durable and has no plastic parts so that he would make an amazing baby shower gift!

When made with size 4 yarn, the head is about 5.5” (14 cm) tall with long curly tentacles of about 7” (17.5 cm).
Size can be altered if you choose thinner or thicker yarn.

MATERIALS NEEDED:
1) Half a skein of main body color in worsted weight
2) One skein of secondary color in worsted weight (for bottom and joining top/bottom together)
3) A little of black and white yarns in worsted weight for eyes
