Majorelle is knitted from top to bottom seamlessly.
We start by knitting the double collar then we continue with cable raglan yoke and shortened rows to slightly hollow out the neckline. The body (back and front) is then worked together in the round with cables continuing down to the bottom. The sleeves are worked in the round.

Finished bust circumference approximately: 41 (43.25 - 45) 47.25 (50.5 - 54.25) 58 (60.5 - 63) inches or 104 (110 - 115) 120 (126 - 130) 141 (150 - 160) cm.
Recommended ease: 4 to 8 inches or 10 to 20 cm of positive ease. To pick your best size, measure your full bust and add your desired ease, then pick the finished bust circumference closest to that number.
Sample is shown in size 3 with 7 inches or 18 cm of positive ease.

GAUGE: 21 sts x 28 rows for 4 x 4 inches or 10 x 10 cm in st st with larger needles.

YARN: this sweater is knitted with a lace and a fingering weight yarn held together:
Sweater version: approx 1100 (1250 - 1320) 1450 (1600 - 1850) 2060 (2270 - 2450) yards or 1005 (1140 - 1200) 1330 (1460 - 1700) 1880 (2100 - 2400) m of each yarn.
If you prefer, you can knit this sweater with only one strand of a DK weight yarn.

Majorelle se tricote de haut en bas sans coutures. On commence par tricoter le col double puis on poursuit par l’empiècement en raglan torsadé et des rangs raccourcis pour creuser légèrement l’encolure. Le corps (dos et devants) est ensuite travaillé ensemble en rond avec les torsades qui continuent jusqu’en bas. Les manches sont travaillées en rond.

Tour de poitrine du vêtement terminé environ 104 (110 - 114) 120 (128 - 138) 147 (154 - 160) cm.

Il est conseillé de le porter avec une aisance positive de 10 à 20 cm. Pour choisir la meilleure taille, mesurer le tour de poitrine et ajouter l’aisance souhaitée, puis choisir la circonférence de poitrine finie la plus proche de ce nombre. Il est bien sûr possible de choisir d’avoir un tricot plus ou moins près du corps et de tricoter une taille avec plus ou moins d’aisance que préconisée.
Il est présenté en taille 3 avec 18 cm d’aisance.

ECHANTILLON : 21 m x 28 rgs pour 10 x 10 cm en jersey.

LAINE : le modèle se tricote avec deux fils tenus ensemble : un fil de type fingering et un fil de type lace.
Environ 1005 (1140 - 1200) 1330 (1460 - 1700) 1880 (2100 - 2400) m de chaque fil.
Mais il est aussi possible de le tricoter avec un seul fil de type DK.

MATERIEL : aiguilles suggérées n° 3 et 3,5 (côtes) et n°4 (corps et manches) de 40 et 80 cm, une aiguille à laine, câbles pour mettre les mailles en attente et 8 anneaux marqueurs.

NOTES : le modèle est tricoté en KMS (mohair, soie - 25g = 225m) et MSW (Merinos - 100g = 400m) de Yarn By Simone couleur Blue Hotel.
