This crochet blanket is named after the Jardin Majorelle in Marrakech. A bright and beautiful blanket, using a special fan stitch for that extra exotic look and feel. If you’re looking to make a crochet scrap blanket, this pattern is perfect.

YARN
Yarn: Scheepjes Catona, or another 4ply mercerized cotton. For each colourway, you need 10 grams of cotton. It makes the Majorelle Blanket the perfect scrap blanket.

GAUGE
I’ve used a 4 mm crochet hook to achieve a gauge of 26 dc wide x 10 dc high to be 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 inch). If you crochet loser or more tightly, I recommend using a hook larger or smaller to obtain the gauge.

SIZE
Finished size of the example blanket: 90 x 132 cm (35 inch x 52 inch). But the pattern is adaptable and you can make the Majorelle Blanket in ANY SIZE you like. You may, however, need less or more yarn accordingly.
