This wonderful hat comes from an amazing YouTube video by Majovel Crochet - all I did was write it up. I think this with its great visuals, combined with the written instructions, should be okay.

Really easy construction, starting with the brim in fpdc and bpdc, then moving onto the body of the hat with its pretty flower petal design.

ERRATA: Row 2 of the flower petal pattern: third line of row 2 should refer to FPTC, not fpdc. Apologies - download now corrected as at 15th March 2019

The pattern I’ve written makes a hat that fits an average sized adult head. To make it smaller or bigger, simply add or deduct multiples of 10 from the starting chain.

No particular guage, and it used about 75g of a ball of Stylecraft Special DK.
