Makalu
Makalu is a scoop-neck pullover with set-in sleeves. The body is
worked in the round from the bottom up, beginning with a cabled
rib band. The stitch pattern transitions into a more intricate cabled
pattern for the main body. Stitches for the sleeve are picked up
around the arm-hole and worked in short rows for the sleeve cap,
then worked in the round down to the wrist.
Sample shown in 331/2” on 36” bust with 21/2” of negative ease. Cable stitch patterns are written and charted.
