The hat begins with a beautiful Lace Rib that has a lot of stretch. Fair Isle technique is used and, once the hat is completed, duplicate stitch is used for the 3 Peace Doves circling the top of the hat, with an eye for each dove added using embroidery if so desired. Written instructions include 2 charts and sized for a 22-24” head circumference. For a smaller hat, go down 1 needle size.
