These quick, cozy, simple mitts feature (optional contrast) garter stitch trim and an offset thumb gusset.

You will need:

• 30 to 60 grams total (depending on size made) of worsted or Aran weight yarn. Smaller sizes can be made from fingering, or sport weight yarn, larger sizes can be made from Bulky weight yarn
• A stitch marker for beginning of round (maybe also 2 to mark where increases go)
• A scrap of waste yarn for holding thumb stitches
• Yarn needle or crochet hook for weaving in ends

Mitt sizes/ needles needed as follows:

• DPNs or 9” circular needle or circ with long enough cable to do Magic Loop, or size to obtain gauge:
• Teen/Adult (worsted/aran) US6-7/4.0-4.5mm for gauge of 6st/8 rows to 1”/2.5cm
• XLarge adult (bulky) US9/5.5mm for gauge of 5st/7 rows to 1”/2.5cm
• Child (sport) US4/3.5mm for gauge of 8st/10 rows to 1”/2.5cm
• Baby/Toddler (fingering) US2/2.5mm for gauge of 9st/11 rows to 1”/2.5cm
