Make Way for Ducklings
What a lovely family duck!
What a cute teddy cop!
They are so cute and so pretty….
This pattern has been inspired in the lovely book “Make Way for Ducklings” is a children’s picture book written and illustrated by Robert McCloskey. First published in 1941, the book tells the story of a pair of mallard ducks who decide to raise their family on an island in the lagoon in Boston Public Garden, a park in the center of Boston, Massachusetts.
The teddy bear is wearing a lovely knitted royal blue uniform and a policeman’s club, he has a cute red felt stop signal, the mom duck wear a pretty knitted hankie and the little ducks wears green vests and red ties with embroidered polka dots.
Teddy Tall size from top ear to toe 6.29 inches – 16 cm.
