Hello all, the Making Honey Socks are a tribute to those little worker bees that do some much for us and are perfect for the Spring and Summer seasons.

These are a top down construction with a double ribbed cuff, then moving on to the stranded colour work chart for the leg.

There are only two colours worked for each round and then a little duplicate stitch and straight stitch are used to finish off the bees and the hives (there is a quick demonstration on my Instagram page for this technique).

Heel flap, heel turn and gusset then lead to working the foot, finished with a wedged toe construction.

The model uses Fyberspates Coop Sock Yarn and small amounts of WYS for the flowers and Drops Nord for the body of the Bees.

2.5mm Needle or size to obtain gauge of 36 st x 40 rounds for 10cm square.

Happy knitting to you all.
