I love how flexible square blanket patterns are. You can make more or less repeats to change the size. You can use thin yarn or thicker yarn. Each option changes the look of the blanket, but the pattern stays the same. So easy!

This pattern is made from the center out. It uses beginner stitches and is super easy to remember. Definitely one you can make while watching tv or chatting with a group of friends! We’ll be making sets of “railroad tracks” in multiple colors. It looks best with three colors, but you can use as few as 2 or as many as you wish to pare down your stash!

My finished blanket is 44” x 44”.
