The Making Waves Cowl is inspired by crashing waves breaking on the beautiful beaches of Donegal. The wave stitch pattern is knitted with increases and corresponding decreases. Each layer of waves is emphasised by rows of garter stitch texture, which represent the crest of the breaking waves.

This cowl is designed especially for multi-shade mini-skeins, using a narrow stripe within the textured pattern to blend shades into each other and to create a fade across the cowl. The cowl is knitted seamlessly in the round.
