This mug rug is a beautiful addition to any table setting (my hubby even likes it!). It works over a one-row repeat and is a very easy stitch to memorize. It can also be easily adapted to any size that you like, although yarn usage will be affected. The fringe and beads (both optional) make an interesting accent to the piece.

Lion Brand Comfy Cotton Blend Yarn (50% Cotton / 50% Polyester; 392 yds / 358 m; 7 oz / 200g)
For solid color mug rug - 61 yds / 56 m in color “Whipped Cream” (Contrast color)
For striped mug rug - 33 yds / 30 m in color “Chai Latte” (Main color) and 28 yds / 26 m in color “Whipped Cream” (Contrast color)
US Size G / 4mm crochet hook
10 wooden beads for decorative fringe (optional)
Measuring tape
Tapestry needle
Scissors
