Malaspina
Malaspina is a flared skirt adorned with a fun, geometric colorwork design along the bottom. This skirt is named after the Malaspina Glacier in Southeast Alaska, the largest piedmont glacier in the world; this glacier is formed by ice that spills out of the St. Elias Mountains, fanning across the plains below.
Sizing
I have provided instructions for 11 waist/hip sizes: 20”/51cm (24”/61cm) (28”/71cm) (32”/81cm) (36”/91cm) (40”/102cm) (44”/112cm) (48”/122cm) (52”/132cm) (56”/142cm) (60”/152cm). waist/hip measurement should be taken from wherever you like the skirt to sit when worn. Choose the size that matches this measurement, if you are between sizes choose the smaller size.
Total skirt length is 16”/40.5cm for the smallest 6 sizes and 18”/46cm for the largest 5 sizes, though length can easily be adjusted shorter or taller when knitting the “Skirt body” section.
