This is a great amigurumi pattern featuring the Malayan Tapir, an endangered species from Malaysia and Indonesia. They are the largest species of Tapir in the world, and the only other Tapir species are found across the ocean in South America. This pattern is a beginner to intermediate pattern with lots of different principles of crochet included. You will make the head and body together, the snout, 4 legs (front legs have 4 toes, back legs have 3 toes) and the ears with their distinctive white markings. You will only need white and black worsted weight yarn a 3.00mm hook and 4mm safety eyes. Lots of explanatory pictures and tips and tricks inside!

This is a PDF file, not an actual malayan tapir or a paper pattern.
