Malcolm
Malcolm is part of the Shiny afghan block collection. This is an advanced pattern that uses some overlay stitches and some unconventional stitch placement. It’s a little bit tricky, but it’s lots of fun. You’ll want to have a good handle on post stitches, reading patterns, and locating and using the third loop of your stitches to complete this square.
Malcolm is available as a stand alone pattern and within the Shiny 2 ebook. The Shiny collection is comprised of two ebooks and one bonus pattern, and includes ten 12 inch afghan squares with matching stitch counts for easy joining and swapping and one stitch pattern for bordering or making filler squares.
For details on yarn used in this square and complete details on the construction of the afghan, click here to read the blog post.
