This vest is a fairly easy project. It is knitted on 7 mm needles flat using bulky yarn, and seamed at the sides and shoulders.

Shoulder shaping is done using German short rows and a three needle bind off. If you prefer, you can seam your shoulders instead of using a three needle bind off.

This is a great project to knit as a gift for the holidays because it is quick to make.
