Easy crochet pattern with a lot of photos for begginers. You can crochet chicken, mallard duck and egg houses with this pattern.

The pattern contains:
• 20 pages of step by step crocheting toy;

The pattern doesn’t contains crocheting lessons. You must know the basic crocheting skills.

The size of the finished toy: chicken & mallard duck 15 cm (~5.9 inches) high, egg 21 cm (~8.3 inches) when using 4.0 mm crochet hook.
Pay attention that in case of using materials other than listed your toy size will differ from mine.

Recommended materials and tools:
1. Plush yarn 100 gr/120 m (#6 Super Bulky yarn). I use Himalaya Dolphin Baby:
Chicken
• #80313 (yellow) – 1/2 of skein;
• #80368 (dark yellow);
• #80301 (white) – 1,5 of skein.
Mallard Duck
• #80365 (sand) – 1/3 of skein;
• #80368 (dark yellow);
• #80337 (brown);
• #80331 (green);
• #80301 (white);
• #80307 (light mint) – 1,5 of skein.

1. Black cotton thread for embroidering I use YarnArt Jeans (50g/160 m) #53.
2. Green & yellow color cotton or semi cotton thread for tightening. I use YarnArt Jeans (50g/160 m) #52, #67.
3. 4.0 mm hook (US size G/6) or any other suitable for your crocheting density.
4. Filling (holofiber or fiberfill for stuffing).
5. Safety eyes 14 mm.
6. Buttons (one for each egg) to close the egg. Yarn needle, pins, stitch marker and scissors.

In pattern descripted toy from plush yarn, but you can use any other yarn and other hook. In this way size of the finish toy will be differ.
