Mallard Duckling
This little sweetie is quick and easy to work up. The color changes add just the right touches to bring him to life!
Pattern Notes: The pattern is written for advanced beginner crocheters and beyond (mainly because of the type of terminology used). The advanced beginner is familiar with making amigurumi and understands basic amigurumi crochet terminology and stitches as well as how to sew pieces together, finish off, hide ends, etc. You’ll need to be comfortable with sewing on appliques and the skele-kitty also requires surface crochet stitches. If you are not familiar with all the terms used in this pattern, there are a multitude of tutorials on You Tube that can help. Also feel free to contact me with any questions. I’ll be glad to help in any way I can.
Materials: Worsted weight yarn, 3mm hook, safety eyes, fiberfill.
Size: Gauge is not important to these patterns. The size of your finished products will vary depending on the size yarn and hooks you use. Made with the materials listed, the duckling is about 2¼” tall (not counting the hair).
