Mallory Mock Neck
This is the Mallory Mock Neck crochet pattern! When purchasing this pattern on Etsy you will get access to a PDF with written instructions on how to make this top yourself, as well as a lookbook containing pictures and some useful information from the lovely people that tested this pattern!
It is an intermediate-friendly pattern that mainly uses yarn-over slip stitches, half double crochets and single crochets. This top is intended to have quite a bit of negative ease, but by going up or down a size you can easily adjust to your preferred ease. As you can see in the lookbook PDF there is a wide range of ease amongst the testers, making the top fit in different ways!
Below you’ll find some technical information about this pattern:
SIZING
- This is a graded pattern with 9 sizes based on measurements from the Women Size Chart by the Craft Yarn Council.
- The chest circumference of the top for sizes (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) is: (59,69,79,89,101,111,121,129,139) cm or 23,27,31,35,40,44,47,51,55 inches.
- The top is meant to have 12-19 cm (4.7-7.1 inches) of negative ease, meaning that it should be smaller than your body and fit quite tightly.
- The length of the top can easily be adjusted by doing more/less starting chains.
MATERIALS USED
- Crochet hook 3.5 mm (or hook needed to obtain gauge)
