Mama Fox & her cubs – Amigurumi fox crochet pattern - English PATTERN only

The pattern is written in English and using US crochet terms.

The pattern is straight forward and easy to follow. There is lots of pictures in this pattern – lots of step by step images, especially on the special parts.

You will find 2 patterns in this PDF. One part is for the bigger fox; Mama Fox and the second part is for one cub; Baby Fox. (Have in mind that the cubs are made with same pattern, even if you see more than one on the pictures.)

You need to know the basic crochet skill for amigurumi, especially how to work in rounds or spiral. Some examples of stitches; slip stitch, single crochet, double crochet, increases and decreases.

You will find good instructions how to make the legs moveable with only yarn (if you don’t want to use security joints).

Materials required:
– Yarn – I used a cotton and acrylic blend DK weight yarn; Scheepjes Soft fun. I managed to use 1 skein of the color clay for Mama Fox and 1 cub. The color Latte (cream) and Cedar (brownish) I used a half skein. If you will do 
2 cubs or more, or using bigger hook, I would recommend to have at least 1,5 skeins or more of the clay color.)
– Crochet hook 2.5 mm
– Fibrefill / toy stuffing
– Security eyes, 10 mm for Mama Fox
– Security eyes, 7 mm for cubs
– Optional: 4 security joints (only for Mama Fox)
– Stitch markers, scissor and embroidery needle

Size:
Mama Fox: Approx. 25 cm in height (standing)
Cub: Approx. 10 cm in height (sitting)
(Note! When using 2.5 mm crochet hook and the yarn Scheepjes Soft fun.)
