Warmer days are coming, my mom requested a hat for those still chilly morning walks. Comfy cotton warms just enough for a nip in the air, cool enough so she can keep her morning walks long. Cables and lace for a feminine touch of style.

Wavy lace brim is knit flat, seamed and stitches are picked up for body. Easily add additional repeats to make hat as wide or tall as you prefer.

Skills: provisional cast on, kitchener or 3-needle bind off, cables, lace, knitting in the round.

Yarns: Easily adjust band length for the characteristic of your yarn. I made mine tighter knowing the cotton would grow. If using animal fiber with memory, make true to your size.
