This pattern includes options for knitting longies, capris, or shorties, with ribbed, moss stitch or garter stitch cuffs.

It is an advanced intermediate pattern, suitable for those knitters who consider themselves experienced.

Sizes:
Newborn (NB) – waist 14”, rise 13”, longies inseam 5.5”
Small (SM) – waist 16”, rise 15”, longies inseam 7”
Medium (MED) – waist 18”, rise 17”, longies inseam 9”
Large (LG) – waist 20”, rise 19”, longies inseam 11”
Extra Large (XL) – waist 22”, rise 21”, longies inseam 13”

Supplies:
4oz (4oz, 5oz, 5.5oz, 7oz) worsted weight yarn – one base color and one trim color (or all one color if you prefer). Yarn amounts listed are for longies.

US 5 & 6 16” circular needles
US 5 & 6 12” circular needles (or double pointed) for the legs. The 5s are only necessary if you want to do the ribbed leg cuff version.

2 double pointed needles (can be any size from 5 – 8) for joining the crotch using kitchener stitch and making the i-cord drawstring.

1 tapestry needle

1 stitch holder – I like the big ones that look like safety pins, but a scrap of yarn or a spare circular needle will work too.

3 stitch markers
