Mammoth Cave
This month’s hat is inspired by the one and only Mammoth Cave National Park. While the cave itself is the main feature of the park, I couldn’t help but create a color inspired by the lush green landscape of the park’s exterior surroundings, including Green River. For this month’s hat, I wanted to keep it super simple. I love a good classic stocking hat, and this is truthfully one of my new favorites because it knits up rather quickly in an Aran weight yarn. It’s thick and cozy and can be worn with a brim or without. The height can be adjusted to suit your preference or the head you are knitting it for. I hope this easy pattern is your new go-to. Happy knitting!
