After making yet another pair of these for my husband, I finally wrote the pattern. I could never find a simple, easy pattern that was “man-friendly”, and he always asked for longer cuffs anyway. As a bus driver, his gloves don’t usually stay tucked in his sleeves very well.

I would rate this a beginner pattern as it uses basic stitches of chain, single crochet, and slip stitch. However, it is written in what can be called shorthand. I do not spell out each stitch, but rather my instructions look more like this: ch1, sc in same st, sc 6…. which would read ch1, sc in same st, sc in each of the next 6 stitches.
