Mandala 21 was John’s first attempt at pattern writing (and our introduction to each other). He has since stopped designing, but he has kindly allowed me to host a photo tutorial for this gorgeous design on my website and on Instagram.

The pattern is free and includes step-by-step instructions for creating this mandala.

For my photo tutorial, I chose to use Scheepjes Stonewashed XL and a 5 mm hook, but you can use any hook/yarn combination you like to create anything from intricate doilies to large floor rugs.
