With small amounts of thin sock yarn you can knit a cover for any size stone to turn it into a pretty paperweight. The knitting is done in one piece, working in the round and there are no seams to sew. The finished stones can be decorated with embroidery. Instructions are included for the simple Dorset Button style weaving I used to decorate mine.
