Mándame Flores—“send me flowers.” Somehow the request sounds nicer in Spanish, doesn’t it? It was the first thing that popped into my head as the flower motif on this piece took shape.
Mándame Flores is a drop shoulder pullover worked from the bottom up, with a slightly a-line shape, elbow-length sleeves and squishy fisherman’s rib at the collar. Colorwork along the bottom hem means the patterning isn’t interrupted by shaping, and a complementary contrast color at the collar, hem and cuffs unites the whole piece.
The variegated yarn I chose has bits of the main cream color mixed in, creating a floral pattern that appears to blur and fade in spots. If you prefer a more solid colorwork pattern, choose yarns that contrast sharply!

Sizes: Sizes: XS (S, M, L) {1X, 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X}; finished bust circumference 32 1/4 (36 1/4, 40 1/4, 44 1/4) {48 1/4, 52 1/4, 56 1/4, 60 1/4, 64 1/4}”/ 82 (92, 102, 112.5) {122.5, 132.5, 143, 153, 163} cm
Sample shown in size S with approx. 1.5” + ease; as sweater is designed to have an a-line shape, choose the size that has approx. 4-6”+ ease at the top of the hip, and 0-2” + ease at the bust.
