Introduction: This cardigan is knitted top down. The raglan shaping is incorporated in the lace chart. The neck is shaped using short rows. They are added below the yoke to not disturb the lace in the yoke. Button bands and neckbands are applied afterwards for a neat, seamless finish. All edgings are bound off using Italian bind off.

Beige sample; Ella Rae DK merino superwash (Merino 100%, 260m(275yds) per 100g skeins) 3(3, 4, 4, 5)5, 5, 6, 7 skeins. The pictures show the garment in colorway Camel Trail.

4,5mm/US7 - 120cm/47” circular needle
4,5mm dpn’s OR 4,5mm/US7 80-100cm/31.5-39.5” circular needle for magic loop.
3,5mm/US4 - 120cm/47” circular needle
3,5mm/US4 dpn’s OR 3,5mm/US4 80-100cm/31.5-39.5” circular needle for magic loop.

NOTIONS
Stitch markers, tapestry needle, scrap yarn, 8 buttons.

TENSION
If worked flat:
16 sts/26 rows = 10cm/4 inches square in stocking stitch
18 sts/26 rows = 10cm/4 inches square in ribbing.
