Stranded colorwork and picot edges create a sweet accessories set for winter. Small sections of colorwork make this a good introduction to stranded knitting. All pieces are worked in the round from the bottom up. Elastic is added to the top of the boot-toppers to provide support. Hat and boot toppers should be worn with one to two inches of negative ease.
