Der Mannheim Loop entstand als Projekt für die Freezone in Mannheim, einem Hilfsprojekt für Jugendliche. Ich habe mich im Rahmen meiner Staatsexamensarbeit mit Straßennamen befasst und da ist Mannhein ganz besonders (in der Innenstadt gibt es Straßennamen wie K1).

Der Loop hat ein Zopfmuster, das von beiden Seiten gleich aussieht. Dabei strickt es sich ganz einfach!

Diese Anleitung kann auch gut mit doppelter Sockenwolle gestrickt werden.

The Mannheim Loop was designed for a project called Freezone in Mannheim which supports homeless youths. I feel attached to this city near Heidelberg because of its intersting street names. I looked into this when writing my thesis for my first state examination (street names in the city centre include thing like K1 which is very unsual in the rest of Germany).

The loop is reversible with a cable pattern that knits up easily.

You can use sock yarn held double.
